Thomas Christiansen was presented as the new Leeds United manager today.
New Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has suggested that he is happy with the squad at his disposal, as seen on the club’s official Facebook page.
The Whites were rocked in May when manager Garry Monk handed in his resignation after less than a year in the job, with the 38-year-old since moving on to join Middlesbrough.
That left sole owner Andrea Radrizzani searching for a new manager at Elland Road, and he shocked many by choosing Christiansen as the man to take the job.

Christiansen, 44, has only managed in Cyprus with AEK Larnaca and most recently APOEL, where he not only won the league title, but also reached the last 16 of the Europa League last season.
Now, the former Barcelona striker heads to West Yorkshire to become Leeds boss, and he will be hoping to mount an instant push for promotion having seen Monk miss out on a play-off place.

Earlier today, Christiansen was presented to the media, and he was asked about both the players he now has at his disposal at Leeds, and potential new signings.
Christiansen, as seen on Leeds’ official Facebook page, suggested that there are no players from his former clubs that he is looking to bring to Leeds, though that could change after discussions with Director of Football Victor Orta.
Leeds United players celebrate
Christiansen added that he has studied the Leeds squad having put forward a detailed presentation to Radrizzani, and he believes Leeds have good players already, so he is currently happy with what he has inherited.
“We are talking with Victor and we will see, but right now there is no player from my previous teams that we have in mind,” said Christiansen.
“As I said in the presentation I passed through, [I know] almost all the players. We have good players in the squad, players we can build on to achieve something important. Of course, we want to make the team better, and this is why we are talking to raise the level in the team, but from what I have seen until now, I am happy with the squad we have,” he added.
