Leeds sporting director Victor Orta is under pressure as his signings falter.

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen is under major pressure to turn the team’s ailing form round after a woeful run of form.
A bright start to the season has been punctured by six losses in their last seven games, including three straight home defeats.
Christiansen however is not the only senior figure at Leeds United who is under pressure.
Scrutiny is growing upon sporting director Victor Orta and his summer signings.
Only one, Samu Saiz, can at this stage be deemed a success.

Ezjgan Alioski looked bright early on, but his form has dipped dramatically, with no goals or assists in his last 10 games.
Goalkeeper Thomas Wiedwald has been poor, dropped from the first team for journeyman addition Andy Lonergan.
Mateusz Klich has been unimpressive when called upon in midfield, and can’t get a start, while Jay-Roy Grot looks like he is simply not good enough at this point.

Pawel Cibicki has not even started a league game and it’s November, and loanee Cameron Borthwick-Jackson can’t get into the team.
Vurnon Anita, signed on a free transfer, has looked useful, while Matthew Pennington has had his moments but missed two months due to injury. These two are the most likely success stories after Saiz.
Assessing the group as a whole, it does not look like an overwhelming success, and some of that may be down to coaching.
But Orta has not put a convincing case forward so far that his lack of success at Middlesbrough was an aberration.
