Pierre-Michel Lasogga scored for Leeds United against Burton Albion in the Championship on Saturday.

Lasogga made his debut for Leeds on Saturday afternoon following his move from Hamburg on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old striker scored twice for the Whites, as the West Yorkshire outfit hammered Burton Albion 5-0 at Elland Road in the Championship.

It was a dream debut for the German, who is a replacement for Chris Wood, who left Leeds for Premier League club Burnley in the summer.
The Whites will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Birmingham City at Elland Road in the Championship.
Birmingham are struggling at the moment and are just above the relegation zone, and the Elland Road faithful will be expecting maximum points.
Leeds head coach Christiansen has jokingly said that he will ask Lasogga’s wife not to have their baby until after Tuesday night so that the striker is able to play against the Blues.

“I have to have a direct line with his wife to tell her not to have it until Tuesday night,” Christiansen jokingly told The Yorkshire Post.
About Lasogga’s performance against Burton on Saturday afternoon, Christiansen said: “He’s a very good striker and he proved that today in his first appearance.
“He scored two nice goals but he also combined well and held the ball up which is very important.
“It was a good game, not only from him but also the rest of the players. As a striker you need the confidence to prove your skills and today was a good start for him.
“He started the game after only a few days with the team and his performance and two goals will help him a lot to get that confidence.”
