Leeds United have conceded four goals in their last two matches.
Thomas Christiansen has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that Leeds United’s defending must improve.
Leeds have made a wonderful start to the campaign, and they currently lead the way in the Championship.
The Whites beat Ipswich Town in their most recent match, to build on their success of knocking Premier League side Burnley out of the Carabao Cup.
However, Leeds have conceded four goals in their last two matches – with their defence looking vulnerable at time.
And Christiansen has suggested that the Whites do need to tighten up at the back, if they are to continue to impress.
“We have to defend much better, this is sure,” Christiansen said.
“The clean sheets are a statistic which are good to have but the most important is to take the three points.”
Despite Christiansen’s desire to Leeds improve defensively, their record at the back is still very strong.
Leeds have only conceded five goals in their nine Championship matches to date – which gives them the second best defensive record in the division.
Leeds are next in action tomorrow, when they take on a Cardiff City side who have also begun the campaign in impressive style.
