Leeds United beat Burnley on penalties in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has told BBC Radio Leeds that he felt defender Conor Shaughnessy was ‘very good’ against Burnley on Tuesday night.
The Whites travelled to Turf Moor on Tuesday night for a Carabao Cup clash, and wanted to hit back having lost 1-0 at Millwall on Saturday afternoon.
After keeping Burnley at bay for 80 minutes, Leeds hit the opening goal on the counter-attack as Hadi Sacko raced away to score, before Chris Wood scored from the penalty spot to equalise against his former club.

Leeds went back in front in added time as Pablo Hernandez converted a penalty of his own in the 94th minute, yet Robbie Brady whipped home a free kick just two minute later to secure a 2-2 draw, sending the game to extra time and, eventually, penalties.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Hernandez and Mateusz Klich all scored before James Tarkowski’s effort was saved by Andy Lonergan, handing Ezgjan Alioski and Stuart Dallas the chance to send Leeds through, and they duly obliged.
Leeds head into the next round having knocked out Premier League opposition, despite Christiansen’s decision to make a number of changes to his line-up.

Defensive injuries meant that Irishman Conor Shaughnessy started at centre back, with the 21-year-old turning in an impressive performance at Turf Moor.
The former Reading youngster was praised by Christiansen after the final whistle, telling BBC Radio Leeds that he felt the youngster was ‘very good’, proving he is ready for first-team football after a strong showing against Premier League players.
“Conor showed again that he is ready, he played against Premier League players, and he did very good,” said Christiansen.
