Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has already been busy making changes at Elland Road.
Christiansen has plenty of options to choose from at Leeds, and is sure to have to make some tough decisions as the season goes on.
And the Danish boss insists that he will tell the players if they are not part of his first-team plans.
“I’m here to take decisions,” Christiansen insisted. “I have to send some players out, I have to choose who is in the XI and of course, some players won’t like me because I don’t put them on the pitch but you know, politics is something I know a lot about. I try to control it. Be honest with them and straight with them.
“I’m happy so far but we will all be judged by results, me most of all.”
Christiansen has already started making decisions over who will play for him at Leeds.
The Whites’ new boss has brought in nine new players this summer, and sales have had to be made.
Leeds have offloaded the likes of Marco Silvestri and Giuseppe Bellusci this summer, and more players are set to follow them out of the Elland Road exit door.
Leeds are also expected to bring in more new additions, before the Championship season starts.
Leeds are currently in Austria, as their preparations for the upcoming campaign step-up a gear.
The Whites start their season with a match against Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium in August.
