Leeds United lost against Millwall at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday.

German striker Lasogga started the Championship game for Leeds against Millwall and played for 83 minutes.
Roofe, who can operate as a winger or as a striker, also started the match and was substituted in the 74th minute.
Leeds head coach Christiansen has explained why he had to take off the two attacking players.
Christiansen has revealed that while Lasogga was struggling physically, Roofe was exhausted.

“Yes but I had the idea of taking him out, he was finished, he couldn’t walk if you see the efforts that he did,” Christiansen told Leeds Live about Lasogga’s withdrawal.
“My intention was also to keep or leave Roofey inside but he came to me – ‘are you going to make a change, yes? I cannot more’.
“And I appreciate a player who is exhausted because he cannot more, that means he has given everything and we made some changes.”
Christiansen added on the importance of Lasogga’s two goals to Leeds Live: “Yeah, it’s important the confidence for strikers is everything and the goals mean that they were in the right place in the right moment so but again very nice everything but zero points.”

Lasogga and Roofe were two of the best players for Leeds against Millwall, and one suspects that Christiansen was not going to take them off had they been able to continue.
Leeds were 2-0 and a man down at one stage, but the West Yorkshire outfit then came back to lead 3-2, only to end up losing the match 4-3.
The loss means that Leeds’s chances of clinching a Championship playoff spot this season have taken a blow.
Meanwhile, former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was impressed with the performance of Lasogga, and told BBC Radio Leeds: “He was a different animal in that second half.”
