Leeds United will face Hull City in the Championship clash on Tuesday.
A string of poor results have resulted in Leeds’ dropping to ninth place on the Championship table. If there is a time to turn the table, it is now.
The Whites will travel to KCOM stadium to face a struggling Hull City side that are fighting to avoid relegation this season.
Thomas Christiansen’s side have not won their last five games in all competitions, and have lost three of their last four Championship games.
Therefore, it is a sort of must-win game, and they need to return to winning ways at the earliest. Leeds have been busy during the January transfer window, and have made necessary reinforcements.
One of the major signings this month has been Adam Forshaw, who joined the Whites from Middlesbrough, for a fee of £4.5 million, according to Sky Sports.
The 26-year-old is an experienced midfielder who played in the Premier League last season. However, he found opportunities limited under Tony Pulis, and was sold to a rival Championship club.
Ahead of the game, in the pre-match press conference, Christiansen confirmed that Forshaw will be included in the squad, and that he is in line to make his Leeds United debut against Hull City.
“He will be in the squad for tomorrow, yes,” said Christiansen when asked whether Forshaw will make his debut, as quoted by Leeds Live.
