Vieira was dismissed on the hour mark after picking up two yellow cards, and head coach Christiansen has admitted a problem that he has got.
“I don’t know how expensive it is but at least it’s a good lesson for him to recognise the situation how it was and what he has to do for the next time,” Christiansen told LeedsLive about Vieira’s lesson.
”We know all in football that it’s about passion and he goes in in all the challenges believing to take the ball and go in strong and that was the problem that he got.”
Vieira is a very enthusiastic, combative and hard-working midfielder, but the teenager needs to be careful about making rash challenges.
The Englishman needs to make the right decisions in terms of making his tackles and has to learn from his mistakes against Wolves to benefit in the long term.
The positive aspect is that Vieira is only 19 years of age and is still learning and developing, and there is still time for him to cut out the mistakes from his game.
