Leeds United goalkeeper Robert Green has been linked with moves away from Elland Road in the summer transfer window.
Green was the first-choice goalkeeper for Leeds during the 2016-17 campaign and played in all 46 Championship games.
The 37-year-old custodian, though, is not guaranteed a place in the Whites’ first team this season due to the signing of Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper has arrived at Elland Road with a strong reputation, and the German could establish himself as the first choice between the posts as the season progresses.

Former West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Green has been linked with moves away from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The Sunderland Echo reported of Sunderland’s interest in Green last month – the Black Cats have since signed Jason Steele and Robbin Ruiter – while The Sun (print edition, page 63, July 2, 2017) reported of Arsenal’s interest in the goalkeeper (click here to read more).
Leeds head coach Christiansen, though, is confident that Green will remain at Elland Road for the 2017-18 campaign.
Christiansen has also said that the Englishman has regained his fitness and is available for Tuesday evening’s match against Fulham at Elland Road in the Championship.
Green missed the Whites’ last two games against Port Vale in the EFL Cup and Preston in the Championship due to a knee injury.

“Rob has trained with the team for the last two days, so he will be in perfect condition,” added Christiansen on Green’s fitness.
