Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds United have a strong squad.

The West Yorkshire outfit have a strong and big squad, having made a number of signings in the summer transfer window.
Such is the competition for players that Mateusz Klich and Pawel Cibicki, who moved to the Whites in the summer, have found it hard to be even in matchday squads.
Leeds head coach Christiansen has admitted that he finds it hard to pick his starting lineup, although he is pleased to have competition for places in the team.

“I’m very pleased here,” Christiansen told The Yorkshire Evening Post when asked about the competition for places at Leeds.
“What they have to do is make it difficult for me to choose my 18 and after that my 11 and they prove it in all the trainings that they are able to play in the 11.
“So from my point of view it’s my headache to choose and pick the right 11. It’s my responsibility also when we win and when we lose to decide well.”

Competition for places in a team is hugely important for any club aiming to achieve promotion, and having players fighting for their place can only be good for Leeds.
The Whites returned to winning ways in the Championship last weekend, as they got the better of Middlesbrough 2-1 at Elland Road.
Leeds will face Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Championship this evening.
