Leeds United lost against Reading at Elland Road in the Championship at the weekend.

Leeds United’s disappointing run of form continued at the weekend, as they went down 1-0 to Reading at home in the Championship.

The West Yorkshire outfit were expected to pick up all three points from the encounter at Elland Road, especially given Reading’s own problems in terms of performances and results.

The Whites, though, failed to perform to the level that fans expect them to and went down 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Modou Barrow, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Leeds from Swansea City, scored the only goal of the match in the 84th minute.

Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen has stated that what most disappointed him against Reading was conceding when his side were on top.

“That we received the goal when we played best,” Christiansen told BBC Radio Leeds when asked what was most disappointing about the defeat to Reading.
