Leeds United’s disappointing run of form continued at the weekend, as they went down 1-0 to Reading at home in the Championship.

The West Yorkshire outfit were expected to pick up all three points from the encounter at Elland Road, especially given Reading’s own problems in terms of performances and results.

The Whites, though, failed to perform to the level that fans expect them to and went down 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Not many Leeds players impressed, but one who did was Hadi Sacko, who came on as a substitute midway through the second half.

The 23-year-old can blow hot and cold, and against Reading at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, the Frenchman did well.

Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen has given his take on the performance of Sacko.

“That was what we expected from him, but still there were situations where he had to have more space and more runs, but, of course, the few things that he did was good,” Christiansen told BBC Radio Leeds about Sacko.

Sacko scored two goals and provided three assists in 28 Championship starts for Leeds during the 2016-17 campaign.

So far this season, the former France Under-20 international winger has played a total of 55 minutes in the Championship so far, according to WhoScored.
