Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho’s comments ahead of the North London derby at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal will take on Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Ahead of the game, Mourinho has made some rather interesting remarks, saying that he does not look down the league table.
Tottenham are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 27 matches, five points behind fourth-placed and London rivals Chelsea, who have played 28 games.
As for Arsenal, the Gunners are 10th in the standings with 38 points from 27 games, and it looks unlikely that they will end up in the top four.
Tottenham have started to pick up some some form and are scoring goals, with winger Gareth Bale – signed on loan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020 – starting to find the back of the net and is playing well.
It promises to be an exciting game of football, and Mourinho’s pre-match comments will add spice to it.

BBC Sport quotes Mourinho as saying: “I look up, I don’t look down. If Arsenal was seven points ahead of us, I would look to them. But because we have seven points more than them, I don’t look down.”
Some Arsenal fans have hit back at Mourinho’s comments on Twitter, as shown below.
