Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after footage emerged of Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Fabio Paratici during Sunday’s 1-0 win.
What’s the story?
Well, Tottenham released their Bench Cam footage yesterday from the 1-0 win over Manchester City.
The video focuses on what those on the sidelines did during Tottenham’s victory, including Nuno, the substitutes and Steve Hitchen.
Paratici – the club’s Director of Football – was also present, and the cameras spotted him somewhat coaching Højbjerg after the Dane was substituted.
You can see the footage of the Italian and the £15m man below.
One Tottenham fan below found it amusing, and said that Paratici was ‘killing’ them with laughter after his chat with Højbjerg.
Another felt that Paratici’s actions may have undermined Nuno Espirito Santo.
Good to see from Fabio Paratici

In our view, this is fantastic to see.
Many fanbases across the Premier League complain about their Director of Football.
Manchester United fans never seemed happy with Ed Woodward, as he was more of a businessman than a football man and just didn’t get it.
However, Paratici seems extremely engaged on the footballing side of things too, as well as being the negotiator in the transfer department.

It’s great to see the Italian’s passion for the game.
Also, by having Paratici down on the bench, he can get a fantastic view of where Nuno’s XI might be lacking out on the pitch.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about the 6-second clip of Paratici and Højbjerg…
