Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been getting very excited after Eurosport reported that they want to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie this summer.
The midfielder has been lighting up Serie A in recent years, and if reports are to be believed, he could soon be bringing his talents to north London.
As you can imagine, the Spurs fanbase had plenty to say about this news, and it’s fair to say they were excited about the prospect of Kessie coming to the club.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand why Spurs fans are keen on Kessie. The Ivorian has been one of the best defensive-minded midfielders in Italy over the past two years, and that’s a position that Spurs certainly need to bolster.
Of course, getting Kessie out of Milan is easier said than done and it remains to be seen whether or not this transfer comes to fruition.
However, after seeing the response to this rumour on social media, it has to be said that Kessie would be a very popular signing if Fabio Paratici can pull this one off.
