Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers brought in Bruno Alves in the summer, and Celtic fans are less than impressed with the centre-back.

Celtic fans have mocked Glasgow Rangers defender Bruno Alves, after his comments following the Ibrox side’s defeat in the Scottish League Cup semi-final to Motherwell.
Rangers defender Alves was very critical of Motherwell’s robust tactics at Hampden Park, when he suggested their play was ‘unacceptable’.

Motherwell certainly wanted to show their battling qualities at the weekend, as they managed to pick up a 2-0 win over Rangers.
But Celtic fans offered little sympathy to the Light Blues, and have started to label Alves as this season’s Joey Barton.
Alves has endured a difficult start to life at Rangers, with Pedro Caixinha’s men still not living up to expectations.
Caixinha is yet to guide Rangers to three victories in succession, and their defeat against Motherwell has cranked the pressure up on the Portuguese boss.
Rangers are next in action tomorrow night against Kilmarnock, and another defeat would be disastrous for Caixinha’s chances of staying in charge at Ibrox.
