‘This man is hardcore’: Some fans react as £25m player shows up Ben White in Arsenal training

Arsenal supporters are taking to Twitter to react after seeing a photograph of Kieran Tierney and Ben White at London Colney.

Mikel Arteta’s side are gearing up for a Premier League clash with Leeds United at Elland Road this evening.

The Gunners were put through their paces at the club’s training facility on Friday afternoon.

And a photograph of Tierney has got some Arsenal supporters talking.

Despite the cold weather, the Scottish left-back turned up to the session in a short-sleeved shirt and no leg warmers.

We know of the frosty temperatures because every other Arsenal player in the image – including White – was dressed as if they were set to climb Mount Everest.

White, a £50 million signing this past summer, looked particularly chilly as the former Brighton powerhouse emerged from the dressing room with a snood and gloved hands crossed over one another.

Last game standing

As things stand, Arsenal’s trip to Elland Road is the only Premier League clash that’ll be going ahead on Saturday.

All of the others were postponed due to coronavirus outbreaks at various clubs.

Given that it’s a trip up North, it may well be a chilly one for the Arsenal players, but Tierney, a £25 million signing from Celtic in 2019, is well accustomed to cold weather.

White, on the other hand, clearly isn’t, but he is a model professional and he’ll happily brave the elements to help Arteta’s side return to London with a victory.
