The former Tottenham manager was impressed by how Adams played for Leeds against Spurs in North London today.
The 23-year-old USA international midfielder started the match and played well, but the youngster was sent off in the 87th minute.

While the American did well in the middle of the park, he got himself sent off late on.
And Leeds lost.
Maybe if Leeds had all 11 players on the pitch for the final minutes of the match, then they could have picked up a point.
Adams was very combative in the middle of the park and sensed danger a lot.
However, the American youngster could have done better for the third Tottenham goal, and he also looked frustrated and lacked patience in the latter part of the second half.
