Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after a clip emerged of Jurgen Klopp reprimanding his own member of staff against Chelsea.
The video shows a member of the Liverpool backroom staff applauding Andreas Christensen’s red card, which was met with fury by Klopp.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund manager can be heard saying: ‘Are you crazy? Really? We never, ever do that okay?’
As the Liverpool Echo report, Klopp confirmed after the game that it was not one of his substitutes who prompted his angry response, but instead a member of his coaching staff.
Liverpool went on to win the game following the red card, thanks to two second-half goals from Sadio Mane.
The in-house confrontation comes after Frank Lampard and the Liverpool boss himself came to blows in the Reds’ 5-3 win over Chelsea at Anfield last season.

The Blues boss expressed regret at his foul-mouthed tirade towards Klopp on The High Performance Podcast.
‘Yeah, I did regret that. And when that broke the next day – I clearly felt it as I was doing it – but when it broke the next day and a friend of mine sent it to me in the morning, I was a bit embarrassed by it,’ he said.
It occurred after Lampard felt Liverpool were wrongly awarded a free-kick, which sparked a scene in which Klopp and his assistant Pep Ljinders were shouted at by the ex-Derby manager.

Perhaps, in telling his own staff member off, Klopp was attempting to prevent a similar altercation from happening, which is commendable if that was the case.
Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter thought of the latest incident…
