Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter in adoration of a 31-second piece of footage from Saturday’s 3-0 win over Fulham.

The clip showed the entire build-up to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goal, in which the ball is moved swiftly from Bernd Leno’s box straight up the other end.

It was a delicious finish from the Gabonese forward.

However, one specific part of the move has Arsenal fans talking.

They have been keen to point out Granit Xhaka’s role in the move, and rightly so.

While the Switzerland international doesn’t necessarily find the top corner himself, his constant instructing and movement to open himself up for passing opportunities is exemplary.

The ex-Borussia Monchengladbach man helps guide Gabriel, Hector Bellerin and Leno out of Fulham’s press, before surging up the field and joining the attack.

This in turn helped create space for Aubameyang.

He can also be seen pointing at the ex-Borussia Dortmund striker when calling for Willian to switch the play.
