Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Illan Meslier chose his favourite save of the season – he had a fair few to choose from!
As tweeted by Leeds, the 21-year-old has made a whopping 131 saves this season, with his favourite coming back in September.
Meslier chose his jaw-dropping stop to deny John Lundstram in the 1-0 win over Sheffield United as his favourite save of the campaign.
You can understand why he chose this one – it’s absolutely outstanding.
After David McGoldrick lays the ball off, Lundstram has acres of space to pick his spot from roughly 12 yards out.
Sheffield United’s No.7 hits a powerful shot towards the bottom right corner, but is somehow denied by a phenomenal reflex stop from Meslier.
It helped Leeds keep the game at 0-0, and Marcelo Bielsa’s side then went on to snatch all three points thank to Patrick Bamford’s late header.

In his first season as a Premier League goalkeeper, Meslier has looked like he’s been playing in England’s top-flight for a decade.
The Frenchman has kept an eye-catching ten clean sheets in 32 games this season, the same amount as Hugo Lloris, Nick Pope and Rui Patricio.
Only four goalkeepers in Ederson, Edouard Mendy, Emiliano Martinez and Kasper Schmeichel have kept more clean sheets.

It’s scary to think how good Meslier will become.
You don’t see many 21-year-old goalkeepers doing what Meslier is doing in the Premier League. If he’s this good now, what on Earth will he be like in five years?
Let’s see what the Leeds fans have been saying about the club’s tweet on Meslier…
