There are many Tottenham Hotspur fans who are fully behind Mauricio Pochettino becoming their next manager.
The Independent claims that some figures within Tottenham are keen to take Pochettino back, as he is finding the PSG job more of a ‘headache’ than first anticipated.
With Spurs still searching for a new manager there is now a feeling that Pochettino could actually be the man to come in and replace Jose Mourinho.
And the unlikely news has created excitement among the Tottenham fan base.
The news that Pochettino could return is understandably eye-catching for Spurs fans.
The Argentine may have had a disappointing final year in North London, but Tottenham seem to have gone backwards significantly since his departure.
With Pochettino, Spurs at least had a structure to their play and they rarely looked a team as bereft of ideas as they have this season.
Tottenham are said to be looking for an attacking coach, who has a track record of developing players – and few fit that bill better than Pochettino.
Indeed, the Argentine looks a far higher profile manager than many who have been linked with the Spurs job already.
However, it would be a shock if Daniel Levy sanctioned such a deal, even though he did have a strong relationship with Pochettino throughout his time at the club.
