Victor Osimhen has stated that he will not leave Napoli in the January transfer window, with the attacker recently being linked to the likes of Tottenham.
Speaking to OmaSports, the Nigerian international revealed that he is happy in Naples and that he won’t be leaving the Serie A leaders any time soon, with Osimhen being the subject of much transfer interest following his incredible performances for Napoli this season.
The 23-year-old has bagged ten goals and two assists in just 14 appearances for the Partenopei as Napoli sit top of the Italian top-flight and progressing in first-place in their UEFA Champions League group ahead of Liverpool.
And according to Rudy Galetti, Osimhen’s form has caught the eye of Antonio Conte, who sees the African superstar as a potential replacement for Harry Kane amid rumours that the England captain could leave north London in 2023.

However, whilst the forward might be an incredible option for Tottenham, Osimhen himself has no intention of leaving Napoli anytime soon, with the striker waxing lyrical about how happy he is in Italy with the potential Serie A champions.
Osimhen said about staying at Napoli. “Not even 100%, 1,001%. I set the standard for myself. This is the life I want to live. When things were not going so well for me, I kept on believing, kept on praying, kept on working hard, I did other jobs before coming back to my love, football.”
Osimhen would be wrong to leave Napoli at this stage

Ever since signing for Napoli, Osimhen has always been linked with a move away from the Italian side based on the striker’s incredible form and on how many Premier League clubs are seemingly interested in the attacker. Yet the Nigerian leaving now would feel wrong given what is at stake.
Napoli are the clear favourites to win the Serie A title for the first time this century, and with Osimhen spearheading the attack into the knockout stage of the Champions League, who’s to say that the Italian giants can’t cause another shock in Europe’s premier club competition.
