Celtic supporters have been left disappointed after the Daily Record suggested that Scott Brown will leave them to join Aberdeen.
Brown’s contract at Celtic is set to expire in the summer and it seems that his playing days could actually be coming to an end.
The Daily Record say that he will join Stephen Glass at Aberdeen at the end of the season.
And, even though Brown may not have been at his best this term, Celtic fans are devastated to see their talismanic captain set to depart.
Brown proved that he still has plenty of ability last weekend, when he put in an excellent display in the Old-Firm derby.
The experienced Celtic midfielder marshalled Rangers’ attacking threats well and was one of the standout players on the pitch throughout the game.
Brown has been at Celtic for 14 years now, making 612 appearances for the Bhoys in the process, and his leadership qualities will be very tough to replace.
