Some Tottenham fans on Twitter are getting excited about the rumours that the club are interested in signing Marcel Sabitzer in the January transfer window.
Bild are reporting that the London outfit are looking into the prospect of signing the RB Leipzig star, and as you can imagine, this has got a lot of supporters talking.
Spurs supporters certainly know all about how good Sabitzer can be, after all, he played a key part in Leipzig knocking Tottenham out of the Champions League last season.
Jose Mourinho has reportedly been keen to sign a midfielder in this upcoming window, and Sabitzer certainly fits the billing.
If Sabitzer does come to Tottenham, it will be interesting to see how he fits into the squad and what role he plays, as he’s able to play as a box to box player and as a number 10.
Of course, it’s still early days when it comes to this rumour and speculation is only bound to ramp up as the January window gets underway.
It remains to be seen whether or not this deal can be pushed through, but if Daniel Levy does manage to bring Sabitzer to north London, we can imagine he’ll be a very popular man in the eyes of the fanbase.
