Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react over seeing a photograph of Thiago Alcantara after Divock Origi’s dramatic winner versus Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

The Anfield outfit moved top of the Premier League standings at the time following a last-minute goal from the Belgium international at Molineux yesterday.

Often people claim that winning ugly is the hallmark of potential Premier League champions – and Liverpool certainly strengthened their title credentials with such a difficult victory.

A picture is doing the rounds on Twitter, illustrating how Thiago dropped to his knees and pointed both index fingers to the sky directly after Origi fired home.

And here’s how Liverpool supporters on social media are reacting to seeing the image:

Thiago is completely buying into Liverpool

Following a pretty average first season on Merseyside, the Spain international is seriously coming to life under Jurgen Klopp.

Saturday was yet another midfield masterclass from the former Barcelona academy graduate and from a Liverpool perspective, he’s a joy to watch.

Also, the 30-year-old has found his shooting boots in recent weeks, scoring a couple of wonderful goals at Anfield.

This is the Thiago Alcantara who the German manager and Michael Edwards signed from Bayern Munich in September of 2020.

His form, combined with his reaction to Origi’s heroics, indicate that he has finally arrived and if you’re Chelsea or Manchester City, you’re going to be concerned by the midfielder’s influence on the 2020 Premier League champions.
