Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after Ange Postecoglou reacted brilliantly to a journalist’s question about ticket allocations.
What’s the story?
Well, it’s refreshing to see how Postecoglou has handled media duties at Celtic.
Ahead of a huge game against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday evening, the Australian was asked a boring question about tickets.
As quoted by Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Postecoglou said: “Nah you’re not going to ask me about ticket allocation? We’re playing Leverkusen in a big game tomorrow night!
“Don’t waste the opportunity! I have no desire, or any inkling to get involved in ticket allocation, that’s not my brief. I’ll give you a freebie. Give me another question.”
At least he’s honest and says what the fans are thinking!
Tomorrow’s game is massive for Celtic – if they fail to win and Real Betis grab three points, qualifying for the Round of 32 will be incredibly hard.
It will also be Jeremie Frimpong’s first game back at Celtic Park since he left for Germany.
There are so many narratives to focus on, so you can see why Postecoglou didn’t want to talk about tickets!
Defeat not the end of the world for Celtic and Ange Postecoglou

Bayer Leverkusen are yet to lose in Europe this season, with three wins and a draw from their first four Europa League games.
It will be a seriously tough test, but it’s not the end of the world if the Bhoys cannot get all three points.
Should Celtic finish third, they will drop into the UEFA Conference League, which in all honesty, the Hoops have a better chance of winning.

Even if Celtic made the Round of 32, those who get knocked out of the Champions League will then be involved, and the quality of opponent will rise significantly.
In the Conference League, there are far more beatable teams, and therefore a much better chance of actually going all the way.
For now, let’s see what the Celtic fans on Twitter have been saying about Postecoglou’s comment…
