Fabinho’s partnership at the back with Henderson has actually looked solid when they have played together.
However, it is true that Liverpool’s passing just doesn’t seem as progressive when neither of the pair are in their more natural positions.
Liverpool have really missed them both in midfield of late, and their recent display against Brighton & Hove Albion understandably caused big concern.
The Reds will need a big improvement this weekend, as their title hopes will surely be over if they fail to pick up a victory against an in-form City side.
