Carlton Cole has taken to Twitter to react after seeing a 23-second video of Bukayo Saka playing golf – or attempting to, at least.

How did he do?

To put it nicely, Saka cannot play golf.

The footage shows Arsenal’s No.7 having two swings at the ball, missing it both times, before finally connecting weakly on his third attempt.

It is a hilarious clip.

It was uploaded onto Instagram by Harry Maguire, who captioned the video: ‘Golf definitely isn’t for you.’

After seeing Saka’s attempts, Cole delivered his own verdict, which you can see below.

Specsavers even had a pop at the 19-year-old!

They tweeted to say that Saka’s frequent misses of the golf ball bode well for the inevitable penalty shootout against Germany on Tuesday.

Despite only having six caps to his name, the teenager seems to have become a very popular figure in the England camp.

Maguire clearly feels comfortable enough around the forward to mock his golf skills, while Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling also love him.

As quoted by the Evening Standard, Grealish said: “He is so liked in the changing room by everyone. He is just one of those kids you can tell that he has come from a lovely background.”

Sterling backs up those claims.

The Evening Standard quote the Manchester City forward as saying: “He’s tough, he’s funny, he gets on with everyone in the dressing room.”

For someone so young, in such a pressurised environment, it’s fantastic to see Saka settle in so well and also make an impact on the pitch.

He really does have the world at his feet.

All Saka needs to do now is ensure he sticks to football, because he certainly doesn’t have a career in golf!
