Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the club posting about pre-season plans despite not having a manager in charge.
The club’s official Twitter account informed supporters that Tottenham will take on Leyton Orient and MK Dons in pre-season friendlies next month.
Well, it’s understandable that the reaction to that post was filled with Spurs fans pointing out the obvious.
It’s been over two months since Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho, yet no one is the wiser as to who will be preparing for those games.
Ryan Mason’s name has been muted as someone who can help prepare them for the new season until a new face arrives.
But this is just a farcical situation Daniel Levy has put the club in and it’s staggering that more pressure isn’t being put on his job.
It’s quite right to ask how these games can be set up, yet by the time they come about, Spurs won’t have a manager in charge.
As each day passes by, the bigger this situation becomes for those in North London and it doesn’t exactly excite the players who will return to pre-season action in a few weeks time.
The ambition of the club has to be questioned because they have gone from being Champions League finalists to now going ten weeks without having a manager in charge.
