‘This is our chance’: Some Tottenham fans react to cup final news about Manchester City

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Manchester City swatted Borussia Dortmund aside to reach the Champions League semi-final.

What have the Spurs fans been saying?

Well, after Pep Guardiola’s side progressed, they will now face Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday 28th April.

Interestingly, that is just three days after Manchester City take on Tottenham in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday 25th April.

Now, this will surely impact Guardiola’s plans in regards to team selection.

We’re sure he’ll want to win both games, but if it comes down to a case of prioritising, surely the Spaniard will focus on the PSG tie.

Guardiola has never won the Champions League with Manchester City, but he’s won three League Cups with the Citizens.

Some Tottenham fans below think this is positive news for them.

Guardiola will have one eye on the PSG tie, so there’s a chance he could rest a few star names to keep them fresh for the clash with Mauricio Pochettino.
