Tottenham Hotspur fans are on tenterhooks after it was suggested that a mystery name could come in and take their managerial role.
Tottenham are still looking for a new manager following Jose Mourinho’s departure over a month ago.
Spurs have been linked with a whole host of names, as they look to zero-in on their new boss.
But Alasdair Gold has suggested on his own Youtube channel that the new Spurs boss may be someone that hasn’t been mentioned before.
“I’ve got a feeling there is someone else that we don’t know, who could be in the mix,” Gold said.
Those claims have sent Tottenham fans into delirium, with plenty of guesses of managers who he could be alluding to coming on social media website Twitter.
And many Spurs supporters simply didn’t know how to feel after the update.
Among the names being guessed by Tottenham supporters were Niko Kovac, Zinedine Zidane and Julen Lopetegui.
There is certainly some appeal in any of the aforementioned trio, but if Tottenham were to land them it would come as somewhat of a surprise.
The good news for anxious Tottenham fans is that they should not have to wait too much longer, as Football London have suggested Daniel Levy wants to announce the side’s new manager within the next week.
