Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting to Harry Kane’s comments about the team’s mentality.
Football London relayed Kane’s comments about the team’s loss to Dinamo Zagreb, and it’s fair to say that the striker didn’t hold back.
“We know we dropped below our standards and the worst part of that is probably our attitude, in terms of how were on the pitch,” he said
“You can lose football matches, you can have games where the opposition are better, but that wasn’t really the case.
“We didn’t have any fight, any passion and that’s embarrassing from our point of view as players, we’re the ones on the pitch and we have to control that.”
Kane seems to have the right mentaility, and Spurs fans love this message.
Supporters hailed Kane for showing an incredible level of leadership, while one supporter christened him the real captain of the club.
Hugo Lloris may wear the armband on the pitch, but it’s fair to say that Kane is one of the real leaders at Tottenham, and when the chips are down, he’s the man everyone looks towards.
