A Bola in Portugal reported on Thursday that Arsenal-linked Nuno Tavares had already bid farewell to his Benfica teammates.
The Portuguese outlet added that an £8 million move to Arsenal was effectively as good as done and that the player was headed for London for a medical.
And it seems like there is footage of him at an airport in Lisbon.
The 21-year-old was snapped repeatedly by photographers as he made his way toward the departures.

Based on those scenes alone, Nuno could be going on anywhere, but we know that it’s probably a transfer-related flight because his agent – Rafael Santos – was with him on the plane.

Indeed, it seems very much like Nuno will be Arsenal’s first signing of what simply has to be a brilliant transfer window.
Let’s face it, Mikel Arteta’s side finished eighth in the Premier League last season for a second year on the trot and major reinforcements are needed before the Emirates Stadium club are back among Europe’s elite in the Champions League, let alone challenging England’s elite to win the Premier League.
