Tottenham Hotspur fans are generally behind the idea of signing Nicolas Gonzalez from Stuttgart.
Sky Sports say that Spurs are considering a move for Gonzalez, as they prepare for Gareth Bale’s departure in the summer.
The 22-year-old wide-man has been a hit in the Bundesliga this term, where he has scored six goals in 15 games.
And most Tottenham fans feel that he would be a good addition to their team.
Gonzalez may just be a better fit for Spurs than Bale, while Mourinho is in charge.
Bale has shown great form of late, but there is a feeling that Mourinho still doesn’t fully trust the 31-year-old yet.
Gonzalez is a more willing defensive worker than Bale, and has more years ahead of him to progress.
If he was brought to Tottenham he would add further depth to their forward options, and compete with the likes of Heung-Min Son, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela for a place.
