It’s all going off at Arsenal and it may well suit West Ham United heading into tonight’s Premier League game.

Ahead of the all-London affair at the Emirates Stadium, West Ham supporters have reacted to the Pierre-Emierick Aubameyang saga blowing up in the media.

Not only has he been stripped of the captaincy, but he also won’t feature against the Champions League-chasing Hammers.

Sections of the West Ham support seemingly agree with the ruthless call Mikel Arteta has made ahead of the game.

Aubameyang was initially left out of Arsenal’s matchday squad that beat Southampton on Saturday 3-0 for a ‘displanry breach’, as the club posted on Twitter.

That has since escalated and it probably suits West Ham’s cause because they can pounce on the mixed feelings that will be filling the air waves at the Emirates.

Not only did the Frenchman score at the weekend, but he does have a habit of finidng the back of the net against the Irons.

Either way, this is a huge game in the race to finish in the Champions League places because Arsenal can leapfrog the fourth-placed side with all three points.

But score early in a few hours time, then it will be interesting to see how Arsenal, the fans and the players react to it all.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of West Ham fans reacting to the news coming out of north London:
