Rangers fans are up in arms over the Glen Kamara race row.
It isn’t strictly that a lot of Rangers supporters – and the wider football world in general – feel that UEFA’s 10-game suspension for Ondrej Kudela is a tad too lenient after being found guilty of racially abusing the midfielder at Ibrox following a Europa League tie last month.
But the fact that Kamara himself has also been handed a three-game ban by Europe’s governing body has infuriated some Gers fans.
Not only that, but the 25-year-old’s laywer revealed on Twitter yesterday that his client was originally banned for five games – half of Kudela’s sentence – for assaulting the Czech defender in the tunnel directly after the incident, but an appeal got it reduced to three games.
There is plenty about this case which is controversial to say the least but here’s how Rangers supporters on Twitter reacted to the revelation that their player was almost given half the ban of Kudela to begin with.
