Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter to some Everton fans walking out on the 27th minute of their Premier League clash on Monday night.

Before the game, there was a lot of talk about fans possibly walking out in protest at how the club has been run and it being 27 years since they last lifted a trophy.

Judging by the pictures, there weren’t as many fans that walked out that was initially was probably being predicted.

That was pointed out by the Liverpool fans, but some also suggested that they would have missed their last-minute winner had they not come back.

Everton went into last night’s game on the back of eight winless matches, including being thrashed by their Merseyside rivals.

Added with having a man of Rafa Benitez’s past history in their dugout, it doesn’t help matters and just makes the situation worse.

It does seem as though that they are just another defeat away from things bubbling up once more.

If Benitez didn’t have his Liverpool past, then his safe and experienced hands would probably be more appreciated on the blue half of Merseyside.

But that’s not the case and will never be the case, and in truth, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he doesn’t last the whole season.
