Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club posted a photo of Raphinha back in training at Thorp Arch.
What’s the story?
Well, Leeds were forced to be without their £17m man in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton, due to his international commitments with Brazil.
Raphinha actually scored two goals alongside Neymar as Brazil recorded a 4-1 win over Uruguay, before he jetted back to Yorkshire.
Now, the 24-year-old has been pictured running with Diego Llorente in training, in what is a sight for sore eyes as far as Leeds fans are concerned.
Should all go well, Marcelo Bielsa will be able to call upon Raphinha for the clash against Wolves at Elland Road on Saturday.
He was sorely missed against the Saints, as Leeds delivered another toothless display in what has been a dreadful start to the season.
Leeds must match Raphinha
Of course, both Leeds and Raphinha are fighting for the same goal, and as things stand, the relationship between club and player seems to be a good one.
However, given the global attention Raphinha is now receiving, Leeds must ensure they are competitive enough to match his ambitions.
For example, it looks like Bielsa will have to deal with a relegation battle this season, if the start to the campaign is anything to go by.
That isn’t something a player of Raphinha’s quality should be involved in, and if it becomes a frequent occurrence, he will surely become unsettled.
That’s the main problem. It’s all well and good watching your players rise to stardom, but you must be wary of them outgrowing you.
