West Ham United fans think that the club’s official account have hinted that Said Benrahma’s move is going to be made permanent.
Sky have suggested that West Ham will activate their buy out clause in Benrahma’s loan ahead of schedule to make room for Jesse Lingard.
And, intriguingly, West Ham’s official website put out a tweet yesterday focused on Benrahma, as the rumours continued to swirl.
That has excited West Ham supporters, who now think that the deal for Lingard is close to getting finalised.
West Ham need to make Benrahma’s move permanent as they are only allocated two loans for the season.
With the Hammers currently having both Benrahma and Craig Dawson on loan they are not able to bring in Lingard, until one of these moves is made permanent.
Benrahma is arguably yet to show his very best form at West Ham, although the Algerian has been able to highlight his talent in glimpses.
David Moyes has worked hard to make Benrahma fit in with his system, and the former Brentford man is now earning more and more regular starting chances.
