Liverpool fans have been left dumbfounded after hearing that Wolverhampton Wanderers are demanding £135 million for Adama Traore, according to The Times.
Liverpool are said to be keen on Traore, who has caught the eye at Wolves this season.
But at his current asking price, they surely won’t have any interest in bidding.
And Liverpool supporters cannot believe that Wolves are asking so much for the Spaniard.
Traore has earned a lot of praise this season, but Wolves valuation of him does seem ambitious.
In fairness to Nuno’s side, the powerful winger is a key player for them and they are in no need to sell – so his price tag is likely to be put in place to put other teams off.
Whether Liverpool will make any signings to impact on their first team this summer remains in doubt.
