Liverpool fans are up in arms, as Jurgen Klopp gets ready to loan out Caoimhin Kelleher.
The Daily Mail say that Liverpool will hand a new contract to Adrian and then send Kelleher out for a season to get regular football.
While that may be good for the 22-year-old’s development, many Liverpool fans feel that decision will have a detrimental impact on their team.
Adrian has not convinced after being selected in recent times, whereas Kelleher has looked solid when called upon.
And the news that the Irish international could be loaned out has caused great concern among the Anfield crowd.
Anger at Liverpool
Liverpool will, of course, hope that Kelleher can return an even better prospect with a season of first-team football under his belt.
But it does seem a big risk, if Klopp opts not to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Adrian as number two.

The Spaniard has simply been too error prone to rely upon for any period of time.
Alisson’s track record with injuries is not the best, so Liverpool must have a contingency plan in place, in case he picks up another knock.
And if Kelleher isn’t around to step in, then that could be a cause for concern at some stage next season.
