Jose Mourinho has described Harry Kane as a different player for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Spurs have enjoyed a rip-roaring start to the new season in terms of goals scored, with Mourinho’s side netting 15 in five Premier League games so far.
And incredibly, Kane has been involved in 12 of them – bagging five and setting up another seven.
It looks like the 27-year-old hitman is a much more dimensional player under Mourinho than he was under Mauricio Pochettino, after adding playmaking qualities to his game.
And the Portuguese couldn’t speak highly enough about him.
He told Sky Sports: “This is a different player. He scores lots of goals but he is so good technically and so intelligent in his tactical knowledge that he can be so much more than a goalscorer.”
The Lilywhites are back in action on Monday night away to Burnley.
And you wouldn’t back against Kane adding to his involvement in 12 goals this season.
Thing is, you wouldn’t back Tottenham – who conceded three goals in eight minutes against West Ham last week – to keep a clean sheet, either.
