Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left angry after Sky Sports questioned whether Harry Kane had become a problem for England.
Sky published an article on Kane, weighing up the Tottenham man’s strengths.
It’s fair to say that he was below par in England’s first game at Euro 2020.
However, Spurs fans have found it ludicrous that Kane is already being questioned.
Kane is certainly no problem
Put simply Kane is England’s best player and suggestions that he should be dropped are ridiculous.
Kane may have fallen short of his own high standards on Sunday, but he remains arguably the only world-class player in the Three Lions squad.
Kane also comes into the back of the tournament following one of the best seasons of his career and it shouldn’t be forgotten that he won the Golden Boot in his last international tournament.
Gareth Southgate surely won’t even be considering dropping his captain at this early stage.
And Kane will likely be determined to score on Friday against Scotland to silence any doubters.
