Some Arsenal fans on social media are over the moon after hearing David Ornstein’s news on their summer transfer window plans.
The Athletic journalist spoke on YouTube about Arsenal’s plans this summer, and he said that whether or not the Gunners qualify for Europe won’t affect their transfer strategy.
“We also need to see what will happen in terms of their European campaign. Will they be in the Champions League, the Europa League, European conference or no European football at all? Interestingly, From the Arsenal perspective, they don’t think their European status will have too much of a bearing on what they want to do, and that may hint that the Kroenkes could help in the transfer market,” Ornstein said.
As you can imagine, Arsenal supporters had plenty to say about this update.
Understandably, fans were buzzing to hear that the owners could finally be putting their hands in their pockets to help the club out.
Of course, whether or not the Kroenkes do actually invest remains to be seen, but Ornstein is rarely wrong about these sorts of things.
