‘Actually class’: Some supporters react as footage emerges of Sky pundit and Arsenal fans

Oh, what the Arsenal fans would do to have Patrick Vieira battling Roy Keane in their midfield now.

Whilst Manchester United desperately miss a player of Keane’s ilk in their XI, at least they have the realistic opportunity to win the Premier League title again.

That’s not the case for Arsenal supporters, who after nearly 20 years of not becoming English champions, they are heading further away from reliving those glory days again rather than getting close to it.

But during Arsenal’s defeat to Chelsea over the weekend, a certain Roy Keane was doing punditry work for Sky Sports.

And given that some Arsenal fans were in earshot of the Premier League legend, they were teasing him about his old rival and asking him ‘where is Vieira?’

Keane took it all in good stead and responded by pointing towards his pocket and then having a cheeky smile on his face.

The Arsenal fans also took it all very well and laughed at Keane’s reaction.

It just goes to show that the respect is there between the two rival clubs and those battles of the past are now legendary.

It’s going to take something special for both Manchester United and Arsenal to have such figures in their midfield again.

For the Arsenal faithful, they just want to get back into Europe, because, after 25 years, they won’t be competing in any UEFA competition.

But at least they can look back on those glory days because you can’t buy history.
