
Tottenham Hotspur fans have issued a mixed reaction to Antonio Conte explaining why Tanguy Ndombele is undergoing ‘individual training sessions’.
It’s probably a sense of Déjà vu for Tottenham’s club-record signing because this isn’t the first time he has been put on such a programme.
This happened when Jose Mourinho was in charge and history has repeated itself once again for the ball-carrying midfielder.
Antonio Conte told his press conference that Ndombele is having these sessions to ‘keep good form and that is all’.
There have been rumours swirling around that Ndombele’s days in north London are numbered.
But some could argue, if Conte and Spurs are still trying to get the best out of him, then it’s probably a case of them still having faith in him.
Either way, Ndombele hasn’t played for Spurs ever since he was booed off during their FA Cup win against Morecambe.
That reaction from the Spurs fans wasn’t probably just aimed at what the Frenchman had produced during that game.
But his whole tenure at the club and how it has been frustrating for all involved.
Ndombele wasn’t part of the Spurs squad that faced Leicester City in their rearranged game on Wednesday night and it remains to be seen when he will be back in action.
