Owen Hargreaves has lauded Tottenham’s new ‘silky’ young gun, Dejan Kulusevski, and the impact he has made at the club, as he told Premier League Productions.

Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane have been the two standout players in attack for Spurs over the years.

But now, they can argue they have, during these past few months, a player that can produce the goods alongside them on a consistent basis.

The 21-year-old, who is on-loan at the English Premier League side from Juventus, has six assists from his 12 matches, including three goals.

Former England midfielder, Hargreaves, is loving what the left-footed flyer is bringing to the table.

“This guy is something different,” said Hargreaves. “He is silky. As a centre-forward, you need service and he is someone who is going to put it to you on a plate.

“He has composure. A wand of a left foot. He comes off that right and he’s so classy in the way he plays.

“Look he’s a ball player. Silky, silky ball player. And he has two world-class players with him. If you are a player, then that’s a dream move.”

Tottenham’s Champions League chances took a hit, albeit in a positive way yesterday.

Whilst Antonio Conte and his players suffered a costly defeat to Brighton, hours later, their north London rivals Arsenal weren’t able to pounce, and instead, they suffered a defeat themselves.

There were some who felt that the London duo were the only ones in this top-four race, but don’t rule out Manchester United, who beat Norwich 3-2 on the same day.

In these coming weeks, the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Man United will lock horns with one another and you just feel these head-to-heads will dictate who finishes where.
