Liverpool lost their fifth consecutive home game of the season on Thursday to add more misery to their title challenge.
Whilst Liverpool are even struggling to put the ball into the back of the net, those over at the Etihad are winning a remarkable 21 games on the bounce.
It’s easy for some, isn’t it?!
But Man City fans aren’t happy with what Klopp has had to say about their team.
The Liverpool boss was talking about the difficulties of trying to stay at the top of England’s top-flight division and how only a team like Man City can do so because they have ‘everything’, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
Well, once again, money was mentioned alongside Man City’s name and why shouldn’t it because they have spent a lot of it.
But those Man City fans were annoyed because they feel Klopp wasn’t making these excuses last season when his team were flying at the top.
And they do have a point in that regard.
Plus, they pointed out how Liverpool have spent big money on Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker – two players who have been credited for taking the club to the next level.
But to balance it out, Pep Guardiola’s bench is sometimes more expensive than some teams that are challenging for Europe, so he had that luxury.
